Biographical/Historical note
The Faculty Senate was established in 1977. The Mission of the Faculty Senate at Utah Valley University is to: 1) Provide a faculty voice in the policy making of the University; 2) Improve the professional, economic, and civic status of the faculty members; 3) Build solidarity among the faculty members for the solution of problems of mutual concern; 4) Provide opportunities for leadership; and 5) Stimulate professional enthusiasm.
