Biographical/Historical note
Although born in Montana, Eggett spent most of her life in Spring Lake, Utah. As an amateur historian, she was involved in many local history projects. Her research interests include the Black Hawk War, the local history of Utah Valley, and the LDS church. Eggett was insturmental in the archelogical dig of B.F. Johnson's home in Spring Lake as well as the reinternment of Chief Black Hawk's body from the LDS Church History Museum to Spring Lake, Utah. Eggett was involved in then UVSC's Elderhostel program.
