Collection includes materials relating to the Office of College Relations under Utah Technical College, Utah Trade Technical Institute, and Central Utah Vocational School at Provo. Items in the collection comprise class schedules; student handbooks; catalogs; major program handbooks; student body directories; student body reports and achievements; pageant programs; events planning, programs, and photographs for the dedications and open houses; commencement planning, programs, and invitations; accreditation and evaluation reports; and college newspapers.

Biographical/Historical note
Prior to its university status Utah Valley University has held various names since its beginning in 1941 as the Central Utah Vocational School. Other names held by the institution have included Utah Trade Technical Institute (1953-1967), Utah Technical College at Provo (1967-87), Utah Valley Community College (1987-1993), and Utah Valley State College (1993-2008). This name change shows the progression of an academic institution from one focused on vocational skills to one that offers graduate level programs. The Office of College Relations has also changed its name to the Office of University Relations to reflect a change in the mission of the department.
