Collection includes articles, editorials, opinion pieces, and letters to the editor related to the controversy surrounding the speaking engagements of Michael Moore and Sean Hannity in October 2004. Clippings include information and opinions on: documentarian and Author Michael Moore; conservative talk show host Sean Hannity; personal experiences from their speeches; Orem resident Kay Anderson who sued UVSC Student Council over the Moore invite; documentarian Steven Greenstreet's documentary "This Divided State" about the speech and ensuing controversy; Utah Senator John Valentine and his involvement relating to lack of funding for a new UVSC library; and free speech issues surrounding local entrepreneur Larry H. Miller's address at the University of Utah.
